The Cheez Whiz Band was manufactured on February 3, 2018. Featuring talented and experienced performers pulled from some of Southern California's top 80's bands, the Cheez Whiz Band set out to become the most diverse 80's cover band around. Playing all the hits you loved, plus many you loved to hate, we have established a songlist of over 200 songs drawn from every conceivable genre and including some cheesy favorites from the late 70s and early 90s as well. We keep the faith of the original recordings as much as possible and transport you back in time with an interactive show that includes costume changes, props, sound effects, multi-media presentations and choreography. No two Cheez Whiz Band shows are alike and every show is designed to bring something new. Come out, get involved and Let's Get Physical together.
Musician Bios
ROCKY FORT - Lead Vocals
Rocky was born in Southern France and raised by Sheepherders where he developed a taste for 80’s music and moldy cheeses. Due to his distinctive odor, he was unable to attract women in his native France so he relocated to California and joined a band. It was there that he met his muse (Ma Zarella), who saw beyond his pale exterior and deep into his moldy blue veins. Together they now raise a flock of BabyBels and can be seen occasionally performing together with the Cheez Whiz Band.
BATZOS - DRUMS
Batzos was born in Macedonia, Greece and cannot remember anything significant about his childhood. His only real memory is sitting in front of his 13" Sanyo television and watching reruns of the Muppet Movie where he learned both English and the fine arts of percussion from the only real mentor he ever had, Animal.
CAMERON BERT - GUITAR
Born of a gypsy and English lorry driver, a penchant for living and thriving in dark, humid environments.
KAY SADILLA - LEAD VOCALS
MONTY RAY JACK - BASS
The only American native of the band, Monty is fond of hanging out on the beach and getting mixed up with spicy women.
MA ZARELLA - KEYBOARDS, VOCALS
Smooth, creamy and milky white, Ma Zarella brings both movement and sound to the Cheez Whiz Band.
THE VOICE OF GOUDA - VOICE FROM BEYOND
Bio: No one is really sure who the Voice of GOuDa is or where he comes from. He simply exists.
